Hi there; come on in. Today we’re going to treat you to a relaxing Facial, with antioxidants that will nourish your skin, and give you age-defying benefits as well.
Time to get rid of some old ways of thinking; your “facial” starts…now. Do you like exams? Most persons would probably respond with a no. As for me, I’ve never particularly liked the pressure of trying to get good results; although maybe if I would have studied better the entire “ordeal” would have been less stressful….
Well my 5-year-old nephew recently began attending Kindergarten class, and one time he was told by some of his older cousins that he had to do an exam that day. The poor kid had never heard of the word “exam,” and didn’t know what it meant. So he got scared and began to cry, in anticipation of this great unknown called an exam.
Fast forward about 2 weeks later, and the results of the exams came in. My nephew had placed among the top 3 in his class.
Hmmm…so you know this got me thinking. Unlike my nephew, we all know what an exam is, but how many of us respond in the same way that he did, to the circumstances of our lives? How many of us remain frozen with fear, as we stare at the supposed “mountain” in our way? Whether this mountain is imaginary, or very real, at times we break down and “cry,” convinced that we don’t have what it takes to get through that situation…or do we? What if we re-imagined these scenarios? What if we instead chose to believe that we do have what it takes to overcome whatever situation?
The bible says in Philippians 4:13 (AMP), I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
So now it’s time to get up, dust yourself off, wipe away those tears, and go face that mountain!
Also, be sure to share with us your mountain-moving experiences below.
