Revive your mind and body with our relaxing Massage. Let us help to release the tension and relax the stress, taking you along the journey of wellness.
Time to relax and let yourself be loved; your “massage” starts…now. There’s nothing like having a good work ethic, and I’d be the first to support the idea of being productive, and getting stuff done. However, I believe there are times when we can take things to the extreme.
For example, I once signed up for a particular self-development course. It was the kind that you can take at your own pace; but I found myself in a sense trying to rush to complete it. Now while it’s healthy to make steady progress in a self-paced course, it is not okay to rush to complete it, without allowing yourself time to properly absorb the information.
I also realized that the reason why I was trying to rush to the end, was in order to get the result they had promised – a brand new me!
I think it’s important to find balance, and to realize that in the midst of our efforts toward self-improvement, we are already amazing, and quite okay! I discuss this in my book: I’m Okay: Discovering that you don’t need to be someone else to get God’s attention. You can get a copy here.
I once heard Graham Cooke say: “There’s no place to get to; you’re already there.”
Don’t believe me? Check out Colossians 2:10 (AMP) which says that you are already complete: And in Him you have been made complete [achieving spiritual stature through Christ], and He is the head over all rule and authority [of every angelic and earthly power].
Still not convinced? How about 2 Peter 1:3 (NIV), which says that you already have everything you need: His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
And check out Ephesians 1:6 (KJV), which states that you are already accepted: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
So remember: even while you progress and changing from glory to glory (see 2 Corinthians 3:18), know that you are quite okay, and already amazing!
