Let us renew and rejuvenate your skin with our anti-aging Facial. Our special formula will combat the signs of aging and restore your skin’s youth.
Time to relax and let yourself be loved; your “facial” starts…now. I like stocking up on grocery items at home, don’t you? For me, it’s like: Why buy just one and have to run back to the store in the middle of the month, when I can buy two, and be set for a month or more, right?
So, in keeping with my stocking up tendencies, I purchased a big bottle of kids’ shower gel, poured some of it in a refill dispenser, and placed the dispenser in the bathroom.
Hubby usually bathes the boys, and one day he mentioned that the shower gel in the dispenser was running low, and we would need to get more from the store soon. I simply smiled, because I knew that I had a big bottle of the stuff in the cupboard. In other words: there was a lot more where that came from!
Upon reflection, the shower gel situation is a lot like life, isn’t it? Sometimes all we can see is what we’re lacking, or what seems like we don’t have enough of, or that all hope is gone, and the particular situation can never be resolved.
However, what we don’t see, is that big bottle of shower gel in the cupboard; a.k.a. God in the background, shifting several situations and people around, all in an effort to bring about a good outcome for us in the end.
He says in Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP) ‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’. And Romans 8:28 (AMP) says And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
Also, Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:28 (AMP) Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?
May these and other Scriptures help us to raise our sights, and see our situations from God’s higher perspective.
